John H. Devine of JHD Construction is a graduate of Georgia Tech and has over 30 years experience in construction estimating. John's presentations are registered with the AIA Continuing Education System (AIA/CES) and he is committed to developing quality learning activities in accordance with the AIA/CES criteria. John is also a member of the Construction Specifiers Institute and holds an CCCA designation.

John Devine is president of JHD Construction, Inc, a Georgia-based Commercial Construction firm. A graduate of Georgia Tech, John’s estimating experience comes from being on both sides of the fence. As a member of the Navy Reserves Civil Engineer Corps. for 16 years, John acted as an owner’s representative. His civilian career began in 1971 as an estimator and project manager for a commercial general contractor. John has now successfully run his own business since 1989. He is a member of the Professional Construction Estimators Association (PCEA). His firm is a member of the Georgia Branch of the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC), and a registered provider for the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Continuing Education program for whom John is a much sought after speaker.
