We accomplish these goals by keeping our top management personally involved in every project from start to finish, using their many years of experience to pay close attention to detail and to minimize delays and extra costs.
JHD Construction has been serving the Greater Atlanta area for commercial/industrial construction since 1989. We have completed numerous projects in the public and private sectors including Yerkes Regional Primate Research Center, Georgia Power, BellSouth, Emory University, Georgia State University, Six Flags Over Georgia, Crawford Communications, Inc., and many more.
JHD Construction believes in building lasting client relationships. This philosophy also applies to our reputation with suppliers and subcontractors.

John H. Devine, III - President
| As president, John brings more than 30 years of construction experience to JHD Construction. He has successfully managed a diverse list of projects, from the 23-story, $23,000,000 Atlanta Merchandise Mart Addition to branch banks, office buildings, animal research facilities, and research laboratories. |
| 1967 - 1971 | US Navy aviator, on board USS ENTERPRISE, CVAN 65. Decorations include an Air Medal and a Letter of Commendation. |
| 1971 - 1988 | Continued Navy career in the US Navy Reserves in the Civil Engineer Corps, retiring at rank of Commander. |
| 1971 - 1986 | Construction Estimator and project manager for Atlanta-based general contractor managing numerous projects in the $10,000,000 to $20,000,000 range, including the 23-story addition to the Atlanta Merchandise Mart. |
| 1986 - 1989 | President of Lusk & Devine, Inc. |

Glenn F. Almand - Vice President

As Vice President, Glenn brings more than 19 years experience to JHD Construction. He has provided estimating and project management for many projects such as Yerkes Regional Primate Research Center, the Catholic Archidiocese of Atlanta, Emory University, Georgia Power Company and Southern Bell. |

JHD Construction enjoys a preferred premium rate for Payment and Performance Bonds from our surety, Cincinnatti Insurance Company.
JHD Construction is also fully insured, carrying $2,000,000 General Liability insurance, a $3,000,000 umbrella policy, and the state required limits for Worker's Compensation insurance.
Since our firm was established in February 1989, no judgements, claims, arbitration proceedings or suits have been filed against us, nor have we filed any such claims against any of our clients or subcontractors.
